Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Dragon & Phoenix Stash Box Necklace
A hand-painted enamel pendant box in a rounded, egg-like silhouette, its oxblood-red surface divided by brass banding into two scenes: a phoenix-like bird in emerald and sky blue on the lid, and a dragon coiling below in matching tones with touches of black and mustard yellow, together a classical pairing in Chinese symbolism, representing balance and harmony.

The box opens and hangs from a hand-braided cord in deep chocolate brown, finished with two long, generously full silk tassels in the same rich brown. The rounded form sets it apart from the flatter box styles.  This one wears with real weight and presence, like a talisman.
